My name is Stacey Norris and I am so excited about being the Copper Ridge PE teacher! This is my fifth year teaching, but my first year teaching PE. I previously taught fifth grade at Desert Willow Elementary and I also taught first and second in the Flowing Wells District. I am very passionate about fitness and exercise.
I was born and raised here in the Old Pueblo. I graduated from University of Arizona in 2001 with my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. After working for a couple of years, I began to work on my Principalship with Northern Arizona University, graduating with my Masters degree in 2004. I have four children that all attend school in the Vail School District, two of which are at CRE. I am also the Vice President for the PTA here at Copper Ridge.
Outside of teaching and loving to be around children, I enjoy running. You can find me running around our community and competing in races around Arizona. I am currently training for a half marathon. My husband of eighteen years and I with our children enjoy camping, movies and being together. For ten years I have been making wishes come true through Make-A-Wish of Arizona and I volunteer at Banner Medical Center.
I am so excited to see what this year brings us and partner with you in education and being healthy.
